Texas Bar Exam Statistics Released, Repeat Takers Low Pass Rate of 30% Show the Need for Bar Professors’ UBE Tutorials and the Ultimate UBE Books for February 2025
The Texas bar exam statistics for July 2024 have been released. The repeat taker rate was extremely low. For all of the Texas schools, the repeat taker pass rate was 30% That means that approximately 70% of the repeat takers failed the Texas bar exam. This is line with other UBE states and the low pass rate for repeat takers.
Let’s look at these statistics for repeat takers for the Texas law schools:
Baylor: 100%
SMU: 42%
STCL Houston: 27.5%
St. Mary’s: 36%
Texas A&M: 67%
Texas Tech: 50%
TSU: 27%
U of Houston: 40%
U of North Texas: 17%
U of Texas: 44%
As we can see, the repeat taker pass rate for the Texas law school are very low. The University of North Texas and TSU had the lowest pass rate for repeat takers.
